Article 37.3.F.5 and 3.F.7 Grievances, Casuals keying at the SPBS

The Clerk Craft has been filing grievances concerning casual employees keying at the SPBS. These grievances are being filed on a weekly basis.

Change of Schedules

An employee who voluntarily changes their weekly work scheduled off days will be included in the rotation for overtime

An employee who voluntarily changes their daily reporting time will not be included in the rotation for overtime on any day of such change, unless all employees on the OTDL are working overtime.

In the case that there are multiple end tour times (Especially on tour 3 at the Anchorage, Plant) rotation amongst those on the OTDL will start with the last employee to work overtime on the previous day and will end with the most junior employee on the OTDL.

Article 1.6.B Grievances, Performance of bargaining Unit Work

Any time you witness a supervisor or manager performing bargaining unit work in the clerk craft;

1. Write down the time, date and activity and supervisors name
2. Get a witness to sign the statement
3. Ask to see a union Steward so that a grievance can be filed

This issue is very prevalent and the union has filed many grievances as such.
